Description: Wrought silver ladle with long down-turned fiddle-end handle engraved, "MAB" in gothic script along obverse; squared shoulders and deep, horizontal elliptical bowl has rattail drop at reverse; maker's and assay marks stamped on the underside of the stem.

Marks: engraved: on the handle: "MAB" in gothic script stamped: on the underside of the stem: "CM" in roman letters in rectangular surround, king's bust in oval surround, Brittania in rectangular surround, crowned harp in rectangular surround, date/letter "G" in chamfered rectangular.
