Description: Presentation sword with narrow, curved, single-edged steel blade with two three-quarter length fullers, one broad and one narrow, and etched designs on obverse and reverse; brass half-basket hilt with two branches on obverse side with molded leaf and berry motif and elliptical counter-guard with an eagle and thirteen stars; grip covered in fish skin and wrapped with wire; helmet-shaped pommel with radial design of stylized leaves molded on top and shield and leaf and berry border below; white metal scabbard with narrow brass band at throat, brass carrying rings joined to upper and middle bands with molded leaf and berry motif, brass tip decorated with incised lines, and asymmetrical drag; obverse of scabbard with engraved inscriptions between middle and upper bands and between upper band and throat.
