The subject was the daughter of Charles Lawrence Perkins and Elizabeth (Nevins) Perkins of Summit, New Jersey. Her father was a New York merchant. She married Waldron Kintzing Post (ca. 1869-1955) at Glen Cove, Long Island, on October 27, 1894. Mrs. Post was president of the Sayville Garden Club, chairman of the South Side, Suffolk County, Chapter of the American Red Cross, and secretary of the Samaritan Home for the Aged in New York.

She was the daughter-in-law of Mrs. Charles Alfred Post (1905.196) and sister-in-law of Lina de Trobriand Post (1905.259)
