Art Deco sculptor Paul Manship was born in St. Paul Minnesota in 1885. He studied at the St. Paul Institute of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and The American Academy in Rome. He is perhaps best known for his gilded "Prometheus" in Rockefellar Center in New York City.
