Description: Leaded glass and bronze Black-Eyed Susan table lampshade; 16-inch domed shade with geometric background composed of rectangles of glass shaded from yellow at the top to green at the bottom; black-eyed susan flowers with yellow petals, red centers, and green leaves. Shown on Spun Oval base (N84.80.2), with cap (N84.84.3).

Gallery Label:

The base of this lamp originally accommodated an oil reservoir to provide fuel for lighting. Even after Tiffany Studios electrified most of their lamp models, urn-shaped bases still persisted.
