Emily Bruce Price was the daughter of Bruce Price and Josephine (Lee) Price. Miss Price married Edwin Main Post, a banker. The couple had two children: Edwin Main Post, Jr. and Bruce Post. The marriage ended in divorce. Ms. Post published her first novel "Flight of a Moth," in 1904. She gained international recognition as an authority on proper manners with "Etiquette in Society, in Business, in Politics and at Home," first published in 1922. She also wrote "How to Behave-Though a Debutante," in 1928. Her advice was sought through lectures, a radio program, and a newspaper column.
