Mary Stevens Paget

Mary Fiske Stevens was the daughter of Paran Stevens and Marietta (Reed) Stevens of Boston. After her father's death, Mrs. Stevens moved her family to Washington, D.C. , and then New York City. Mary was educated in New York and Paris. Miss Stevens married General Sir Arthur Henry Fitzroy Paget (1851-1928), a distinguished English soldier, and member of the English aristocracy. Lady Paget was active in charity and war relief work in England during the late 1800's until the time of her death.
