Maria Potter Tod

Maria Howard Potter was the daughter of Howard Potter (1826-1897) and Mary Louisa (Brown) Potter of, New York. She was the sister of: Grace Howard Potter (ca. 1869-1937), Betha Howard Potter (Mrs. Robert Shaw Minturn ca. 1870-1933), Elizabeth M. Potter (Mrs. ClarenceCary), James Brown Potter (1853-1922), and Cranston Howard Potter. Miss Potter married J. Kennedy Tod, a banker, financier, and railroad executive. The couple had two children, Robert E. Tod and Katherine Kennedy Tod.
