Helen Smythe Jaffray

Helen Smythe married William Philips Jaffray (1845-87), a NY dry goods merchant, in 1871. The couple had three children: Mary Franklin Jaffray (b. 1872), Arthur Woodriff Jaffray (b. 1876), and Helen Frances Jaffray (b.1885). Mr. Jaffray died in 1887 at which point, Mrs. Jaffray moved to Paris for the remainder of her life.
