Mary Travers Gray Hecksher

Mary (Travers) Gray Hecksher was the second wife of John Gerard Hecksher, prominent in New York yachting and horse-racing circles. He was the son of Charles August and Georgiana Louise (Coster) Hecksher. The subject was the daughter of William R. Travers, a New York banker. Her first marriage to Henry Winthorp Gray ended in divorce.
