Lady Charlotte di Zerega Frankland

Charlotte di Zerega was the daughter of John A. di Zerega and Katherine (Berry) di Zerega. She was the granddaughter of Augustus di Zerega, a wealthy New York shipowner, and Eliza M. di Zerega, who was active in the social life of New York and Long Island in the middle of the 19th century. In 1890, Charlotte married Sir Frederick William Frankland who fought in the Boer War and attained the rank of assistant provost marshal in World War I.
