Susan Hoyt Francklyn

Susan S. (Hoyt) Francklyn was the daughter of Edward and Susan (Sprague) Hoyt. Her husband, Charles Gilbert Francklyn who died in 1929, was a prominent figure in the development of the gas industry in NewYork City. In 1878 he organized the Municipal Gas Light Company and later was the founder of Consolidated Gas Company of New York. The couple had 2 children: Gilbert and Doris Francklyn.
