Jane Emmet de Glehn

Jane Erin Emmet was the tenth and last child of William Jenkins Emmet (1826-1905) and Julia (Pierson) Emmet (d.1908) of New Rochelle, New York. She was the great-granddaughter of Thomas Addis Emmet, attorney-general of the State of New York (1812-13) whose brother was Robert Emmet, the Irish patriot. She was the sister of Lydia Field Emmet, the painter, and the aunt of Robert Emmet Sherwood. On May 23, 1904, she married the British painter Wilfred Gabriel de Glehn and lived in England.
