Jane Grew Morgan

Jane Norton Grew was the daughter of Henry Sturgis Grew, Boston banker and mill owner. She married J. Pierpont Morgan, Jr. (1867-1943) in 1890. The couple had four children: Janius Spencer Morgan, Henry Sturgis Morgan, Jane Norton Pierpont (Mrs. George Nicholas) and Frances Tracy (Mrs. Paul Gedde Pennoyer). The family resided at Glen Cove, Long Island where Mrs. Morgan took a special interest in horticulture. She was an authority on the Morgan Collection of books, manuscripts, and works of art.
