Frances Folsom Cleveland Preston

Frances was the daughter of Oscar Folsom, the law partner of Grover Cleveland, and Emma C. (Harmon) Folsom. After her father's death, Cleveland maintained a correspondence with Frances and they were married June 2, 1886 in the Blue Room of the White House. They had 5 children: Richard F., Francis G., Ruth, Ester, and Marion Cleveland. In 1913, the widowed Mrs. Cleveland was married to Dr. Thomas Jex Preston, Jr. of Princeton University.
