Margaret Reeves CarsonAmerican, 1875 – 1967
Margaret (Rita) Reeves Carson (1875 – 1967) was the daughter of G. Assheton Carson and Elizabeth H. (Reeves) Carson of Philadelphia. She was considered one of the belles of her day in the early years of the 20th century. Rita was very much part of New York, Newport, Bar Harbour, and Philadelphia society. She was a member of the Radner Hunt Club (PA) and of the Acorn Club. She lived with her mother and older brother, George C. Carson, at Torresdale, PA until their deaths.
