DescriptionCompact box-shaped camera with opening in side to permit extension of bellows; takes 3-1/2 inch roll film; Bausch & Lomb lens and rubber pump-type shutter release; wooden box with leather laminated to surface and leather strap handle.
Markingsimpressed: on front: "THE / BLAIR CAMERA CO. / MAKERS / 700" impressed: inside back cover: "PATENTED / FEB. 25, 1890 / NOV. 5, 1895" and "228" (also on wooden block above film spool) printed: on rectangular ivory label nailed to inside of fold-down front panel: "G. GENNERT, NEW YORK" stamped: on brass below lens: "BAUSCH & LOMB OPT. CO. PAT. JAN. 6, 1891" stamped: on steel plate above aperture settings: "UNICUM" in relief: on end of rubber bulb: "KODAK"
