According to the donor, this form is unique to the makers Yale & Curtis. Henry Yale and Stephen Curtis, Jr, made lamps of all types, including the swing variety. Their shop was located at 67 Beekman Street in 1858. They later moved to 90 Fulton Street and continued the business until 1867.
DescriptionOne of a pair of pewter oil lamps with excluding double fonts, each font with double wicks, cylindrical and bulbous body on baluster stem with attached finger loop and circular base.
