Reverse has space at center inscribed: "FACSIMILE/MEDAL/GIVEN/PATRIOTS/VAN WERT,/PAULDING/&/WILLIAMS", surrounded by floral wreath; with legend: "AMOR/PATRIAE VINCIT"; all within beaded border.
