Paris . in . / .33 1/2 hours . / . May 20 21 / . 1927 ." Reverse depicts aeroplane flying above sunset, all surrounded by wings emerging from shell below; legend above: "..NEW . YORK . TO . PARIS.." Medal set into white square cardboard box.
