This watch fob was owned by New York City volunteer firefighter Joseph Buckman (1822-1875) and appears in the Society's portrait of Buckman (2002.24).
DescriptionWatch fob consisting of three-sided crystal fob with faceted sides, held by arched bail engraved with foliate decoration; surmounted by hollow finial with ornamental base in the form of opposing fish heads. Several links of chain still attached.
