These teaspoons belonged to the Hawley family, relations of the donor's grandmother.
DescriptionFour silver teaspoons with fiddle thread handles engraved, "MSH" in script, flared shoulders and pointed oval bowls with threaded drops; maker's marks stamped on the underside of the handle.
Markingsengraved: on the handles: "MSH" in script stamped: on the underside of the handle: "N. A. FREEMAN 289 B.WAY" in roman letters beside pseudohallmarks, a lion passant, a leopards head, "S" and a bust
