DescriptionDark green wool single-breasted driving coat from the uniform of the Coaching Club with a fitted body and short full skirt; three brass buttons down the front and two at each cuff inscribed, "C C" with a man driving a coach with horses on each; split tab collar and lapel; split up the back to the waist with coaching club buttons on each side; flap pockets at the waist and one pocket at the breast, on the right; lined with black silk cotton; maker's label sewn into an interior breast pocket.Markingsprinted and written: on the maker's label: "FRANCIS CARLSON/ 391 FIFTH AVENUE,/ NEW YORK/ Wm. Woodward Esq./ April 18, 1901"
