The "Trefoil Border" shade was listed in the Tiffany Studios 1906 price list and was discontinued by 1910.
DescriptionLeaded glass and bronze Trefoil Border shade; shade divided into ten sections with quadrangular sections of background glass in mottled green near top and milky blue towards bottom; each section has orange and yellow flower along bottom of shade; each section marked off by flower stems carrying three-fold leaves; shade has beaded bronze band at aperture. Shown with bronze Greek Design base; supports shade with three arms and has a central urn supported by four slightly curved legs which stand on squarish platform (N84.19.2).
Markingsstamped: on metal tag inside shade: "TIFFANY STUDIOS (NEW YORK)"
