This belt was worn by William Oliver Smith, the donor's father. The Society also has his uniform's shirt.
DescriptionBrown leather fireman's belt, red painted leather applied across the center with "EXEMPT" in yellow painted applied leather letters; narrow leather straps beneath each end, one end has a metal buckle, all are secured with metal studs; the buckle end has a belt plain sleeve, secured to the belt by the strap at that end.
