According to the donor, this toby pitcher is from the Old Ale House in New York City, located on the corner of Thames and Temple Streets until 1898.
DescriptionMolded yellow ware baluster shaped fluted pitcher; neck and spout molded as a man's head with tricorn hat; fine scrolling pattern around fluted sides; scrolling handle with acanthus leaf thumbpiece; mottled brown glaze.
